Single User Licenses for KeyRocket

Conditions For The Surrender of KeyRocket

Technische Universität Berlin (TUB) grants the end user use rights for the software KeyRocket free of charge within the amount of licenses provided by Veodin GmbH. The end user accepts the following terms of use and undertakes to comply with the license terms. The manufacturer's terms of use apply for the software provided for the end user. Especially the following points should be taken into consideration:

  • The Technical University of Berlin as licensee grants to the end user a non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sub-licensable right of use of the software. The end user is obliged to keep the license material’s trademark rights, copyright notices, and other legal reservations unchanged. The end user is hereby explicitly prohibited to copy the software, except for back-up copies in customary use, or to distribute it commercially or non-commercially. The Technical University of Berlin reserves the right to use legal actions against the end user in case of violation of these terms.

  • A license is bound to a user (personal license), but entitles for installation and use on multiple computers.
  • Employees and students receive one license of the current version for private use.
  • The software may only be used for official purposes within research & education. The industrial or commercial use (e.g. for trainings against payment) is prohibited.
  • The further distribution of use rights is prohibited.
  • It is prohibited to reverse engineer or decompile the software.
  • The end user undertakes to prevent unauthorised use and distribution of the software.
  • The end user accepts all rights of the program author concerning the software (copyright, trade mark, business secrets). A violation of these rights may result in major compensation claims.
  • Neither TUB nor the program author are liable for the correct functioning of the software.
  • Ordering products within the Softwareportal that are part of the TU license agreement constitutes a formal contract between the customer and the TU. In relation to the customer only the conditions of use as specified in the adhering tubIT contract are applicable. Products acquired within TU agreements are excluded from the right of revocation.
