SharePoint application

!Important! Only the role administrator (RollenverwalterIn) of a department/organisation is entitled to apply for SharePoint.

Please consider the requirements before activating SharePoint.

Step 1:

Please log in to TU Portal and navigate to "Strukturverwaltung" > "Groupware-Dienst Sharepoint verwalten" > "Sharepoint beantragen".

Step 2:

Please enter a title for your SharePoint Site (this will be visible as Site title) and a short description.

Select the language which should be used for the Site creation and which country/regional settings should apply. (Please consider that the language of a website can only be set at the creation and later changes are not possible.)

If all details are correct, please click the Button "Sharepoint beantragen" (Apply for SharePoint).

Step 3:

After successfull activation the message "Die Aktivierung des Groupware-Dienstes Sharepoint war erfolgreich." (The activation of the SharePoint groupware service has been successfull) will pop up.

!Please consider that during the introduction of the SharePoint service not all actions for the setup for your Site are taken automatically, but your application is processed by tubIT employees. This can take up to several days. We ask for your understanding.

As long as you can not see the option "Sharepoint verwalten" (administrate SharePoint) in the structure administration (Strukturverwaltung) your application is still pending. Please do not apply twice!
