Account Transfer / Change of Status
Please note that all data and e-mail addresses related to your existing tubIT Account will be lost in case of a second provisioning (due to a new employment contract, a change of status, e.g. from student to employee, from employee to extraordinary TU member, etc.) unless you choose the tab "vorhandenes tubIT-Konto weiterverwenden [#Transfer data of existing tubIT Account#] in the second step of the activation process.
These data or e-mail addresses can not be restored or converted afterwards!
tubIT Account: Provisioning for Extraordinary Members of TU (Kopie 1)
At the moment, provisioning is limited to students, employees and extraordinary members of TU. Alumni and students of other universities in Berlin (who are not employed by TU Berlin) cannot use the tubIT services.
tubIT - Account
TU members receive their tubIT Account and – where applicable – their Student ID Card or Employee ID Card (Campus Card) during the provisioning process (registration with the central IT system of TU Berlin).
Students as well as employees receive the provisioning letter with instructions to set up their tubIT Account together with their employment contract or enrolment documents. Extraordinary members of TU need to contact their corresponding institution.
Provisioning for Employees
The required provisioning letter to set up the tubIT Account will be sent by the relevant HR team together with the contract documentation.

Provisioning for Students
The required provisioning letter to set up the tubIT Account will be sent together with the enrolment documentation by student registration office (CampusCenter).

Provisioning for Extraordinary Members of TU
Extraordinary members are related to the TU on basis of a contract or a graduate program with the exception that they are not employees or students of TU and are not managed by the central HR department or the central student office. Please refer to the administration of your faculty or the institution to which you provide your services in order to obtain a so called "External Account". De-Provisioning
The right to use the tubIT services is withdrawn upon termination of your study or your employment contract with Technische Universität Berlin. You will be able to use your tubIT Account and its services, such as e-mail, WLAN, PC Pool or file services (AFS home) for a transition period of 6 months or 6 weeks (for temporary accounts). You will be informed about the termination by e-mail.
Please use the transition period to store your data as we are legally obliged to delete all data after the transition period has expired. After the deletion of your account, all e-mail addresses and mail redirections you might have configured will also be deleted.
Please note that your access to the TU Portal will be withdrawn immediately without any transition period.
Should your relation with the Technische Universität Berlin be extended during the transition period (e.g. contract extension), your account will be re-activated.
