The state license agreement between SAS Institute GmbH (Heidelberg) and the universities and universities of applied sciences of the states Berlin and Brandenburg for the provision of SAS software for PCs has been extended until 31/08/2016. This covers almost the complete SAS software suite for the platforms Windows Client and Windows Server.

- SAS/INSIGTH Software
- SAS/LAB Software
- SAS/OR Software
- SAS/QC Software
- SAS/SPECTRAVIEW Software
- SAS/STAT Software
- SAS Matadata Server
- Enterprise Guide
Licenses for SAS Version 9.4 are available at tubIT softwareportal.
Departments and members (including students) of TU Berlin can acquire time-limited usage rights for SAS software for official, non-commercial use. A license only covers the right to install the product in a certain version on a single workstation. For computer labs either the number of use rights has to equal the number of PCs or the call-up of the program has to be limited to the number of use rights. The update function is not part of the license.

Order And Dispatch of SAS Software
Departments and members (students and employees) of TUB can acquire use rights and software using tubIT softwareportal (see servicebox). The software will be provided as download, but additional data mediums can be acquired.
The software is only offered as complete suite. The required license file will be provided together with the software download.
Ordering products within the Softwareportal that are part of the TU license agreement constitutes a formal contract between the customer and the TU. In relation to the customer only the conditions  of use as specified in the adhering tubIT contract are applicable. Products acquired within TU agreements are excluded from the right of revocation.
