Cisco VPN for Mac OS

The following instructions will guide while setting up a VPN connection with the TU Berlin.

For this purpose it is required to install the software Cisco AnyConnect on your computer. This will require local administrator rights. Please ensure that your operating system and browser are up to date and that Java is installed.

Open the following link in your browser: https://vpn.tu-berlin.de and confirm the security exceptions.

Enter your tubIT user name and password and confirm.

An automated routine will start which will automatically download the VPN Client software. You can install the software as usual and confirm the certificate and the execution of the Java application.

After successful installation you can start the program via "Programs" > "Cisco" > "Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client".

From now on you can connect to the TU Berlin network by doubleclicking on the Cisco AnyConnect icon. Connect to "vpn.tu-berlin.de" and confirm the dialogue by entering your tubIT user name and password.
