WirelessLAN - Internet Surfing on the Campus

The Technische Universität Berlin offers WirelessLAN (WLAN) with full coverage across its campus. Students and employees of TU Berlin have the possibility to access the internet from any point on the campus.

Please re-install your eduroam configuration after June 23rd 2021

To be able to use wifi, you have to re-install the configuration file. Prior installations will not work due to changes in the configuration! Two different configurations are available for download at https://cat.eduroam.org/, both for computers as well as other mobile devices such as smartphones.:

  • eduroam – Standard setup for mobile devices such as laptop computers, smartphones or tablets of TU members. Your device will get an IP address  from the TU Berlin’s general address space and will be able to access the Internet.
  • wlan2vlan – This setup is reserved for users who have privileged access to specific resources within the TU Berlin network, such as printers, scanners or servers running in the subnet of a specific faculty. Your device will behave as if it was physically plugged into an ethernet port in your office.
