Access AFS data via sFTP

For all users, which cannot install an AFS client locally, it is possible access your data (as an alternative to WebAFS) via sFTP. For this purpose a secured connection will be established to a TU Berlin server and credentials are transmitted in a secure way.

There are sFTP clients for almost all operating system - such as FileZilla (Windows/Linux/MacOSx), Cyberduck (MacOSX/Win), WinScp (Win). In contrast to web applications there a no upload size restrictions for sFTP clients.

Unfortunately this access method does not support any rights/group management or quota determination.
