Problems connecting via WEBdav
If you encounter problems trying to connect to WebDAV, please follow this procdure:
Go to "Computer" and click "map network drive".
Enter the following server address:
owncloud.tu-berlin.de/remote.php/webdav
Tick "Connect using different credentials", close the window with "Finish" and enter your tubIT user name and password.
How am I able to share a file/folder and issue write-/reading-rights on this file/folder?
Step 1:
Click on the 'Share' - Symbol on the right side next to your file/folder (three connected dots).
Step 2:
Type the first and last name of the person you want to share the file/folder with in the appeared 'Share' field.
Then click on the suggested mail-adress.
Step 3:
Now you can choose between different rights underneath the selected Name. The sharing-process is now finished.
False alarm of AntiVir for using the current Sync Client
The AntiVir software Avira recognizes our tubCloud client as a trojan. This is a false alarm. You can ignore this.
Maximum file size for uploads
The maximum file size is 20 GB. The displayed maximum file size also takes account of your personal quota. The maximum amount of space available will be displayed.
Since not only the files themselves are transferred but also meta informations the maximum file size can differ up to 2 GB.
The limit for parallel uploading is set to 20 files.
